Getting Started

Proof of identity

When you first come along to the club to shoot you will be asked to fill out a P650 form. This is a mandatory requirement at all clubs.

What to bring with you

You will be asked to show proof of identification such as a drivers licence or other photo identification. It is advised that you wear
closed in shoes and suitable comfortable clothing. The equipment you will need for the shoot can be loaned to you through the
club, including rifles, rests, jackets, scopes, etc. as required.

Look before you try

You are welcome to come along to our regular Saturday shoot to talk to our members and watch what happens. It
is best to get there at 12:30pm, half an hour before we start.

Firearms Safety Awareness Test

We can assist people who wish to obtain a shooter's licence endorsed for target shooting, who need to complete
the Firearms Safety Awareness Test. Several members of the club are able to conduct the Firearms Safety
Training Course for longarms and tests are conducted on a Saturday at a cost. Make sure you have read the
"Firearms (Longarms) Users Guide". It is necessary to make an appointment to carry out the test. Click here to see
the Firearms (Longarms) Users Guide.
